Portfolio

We collaborate with cutting-edge media and technology companies that are transforming industries such as entertainment, healthcare, real estate, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and financial services. Our work focuses on fostering innovation and driving growth in these dynamic fields.

While our primary focus is on start-up and growth-stage companies, we also engage selectively in complex turnarounds, special situation M&A, and bankruptcy opportunities. These efforts allow us to leverage our expertise to stabilize and reinvigorate businesses in challenging circumstances.

In 1996-1997, we led a consortium competing for control of Marvel Entertainment during its bankruptcy, facing notable opponents including Carl Icahn and Ron Perelman, as well as Avi Arad and Ike Perlmutter (at Marvel subsidiary ToyBiz), who ultimately succeeded in acquiring the company.

From 2002 to 2009, we played a pivotal role in creating and managing a multi-million-dollar e-commerce retailer specializing in books, music, and videos. This venture became a leader in the third-party marketplace segment, operating four of the five largest branded storefronts on Amazon, eBay, and Half.com, alongside proprietary branded retail websites.

Our turnaround expertise includes evaluating and negotiating revitalization strategies for KB Toys/eToys.com during its 2008-2009 bankruptcy. We also assessed Circuit City as a potential turnaround candidate during its bankruptcy in the same period.
